A company in a technology-oriented environment is looking for an experienced IT professional for the operation and further development of a modern server and system landscape. The focus is on Microsoft technologies, complemented by Linux, hybrid infrastructures, and cloud solutions.
You will work on demanding IT projects, support the further development of data governance structures, and accompany the migration of services and applications to the cloud. In doing so, you work closely with internal departments and always consider the requirements for IT security and availability.
Responsibilities:
Operation, maintenance, and further development of the server infrastructure with a focus on Microsoft as well as complementary Linux
Establishment and implementation of foundations for structured data governance
Participation in complex IT projects, for example in the area of data lake and customer portal
Optimisation of IT processes, applications, and services in collaboration with data science professionals
Planning and execution of the migration of infrastructure, services, and applications to cloud environments
Consideration of IT security, Active Directory, access management, and backup concepts
Qualifications:
Completed IT training EFZ with further education at HF or FH level
Current knowledge in operating IT infrastructures in on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments
Good experience with Microsoft technologies as well as knowledge of Linux and IT security solutions
Experience in leading or participating in demanding IT projects
Interest in data engineering, data science, and modern infrastructure topics
Team-oriented and proactive personality with willingness for on-call duty as well as confident knowledge of German or French, a second official language, and English
