Specialist in Finance and Accounting (60 - 80%)

Your Role & Responsibilities:

• Independent management of financial accounting (general and subsidiary ledgers)

• Participation in and preparation of periodic financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annual)

• Timely processing and declaration of VAT

• Regular reconciliation and maintenance of all relevant balance sheet and profit and loss accounts

• Assistance in payment transactions as well as in the verification and recording of creditor and bank documents

• Active management of the accounts receivable area including dunning procedures

• Management and updating of fixed assets

• Reliable mutual substitution within the accounting team during absences

What distinguishes you:

• Solid commercial foundation with targeted further training in finance and accounting (e.g. professional certificate)

• Several years of practical professional experience in accounting including sound knowledge of financial statement preparation

• Proficient use of MS Office, with a strong focus on Excel (including pivot analyses)

• Fluent German and good English skills, both written and spoken

• Precise, goal-oriented and independent working style combined with a strong affinity for numbers

• Strong analytical thinking, helpfulness and flexibility in daily work
