IT System Engineer - Infrastructure & Cloud (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
Operate, administer, optimise and continuously develop Windows and Linux infrastructures
Plan, implement and technically advance on-premises and cloud infrastructures based on Microsoft 365 and Azure
Migrate systems and services - from technical conception and planning through implementation to successful commissioning
Plan, coordinate and implement IT projects and subprojects independently or together with interdisciplinary teams
Analyse complex faults in 2nd and 3rd level support, resolve them sustainably and document changes and solutions in a structured manner
Qualifications:
Solid practical experience in the administration of Windows Server, Windows clients and ideally Linux systems
Good knowledge of virtualisation with VMware, Hyper-V and Proxmox as well as operating corresponding platforms
Very good knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365 and Exchange in on-premises and cloud environments
Profound know-how in network and infrastructure technologies, especially firewalls, WLAN, routing, switching, VPN, WAF, ZTNA, SASE/SSE, cloud networking as well as redundancy and high availability concepts
Good understanding of modern IT security concepts, especially EDR/XDR/MDR, vulnerability & patch management, email security, encryption, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, security assessments and security awareness
