Senior Cyber Security Engineer (m/f/d)

Analysis and correlation of security events from network, endpoint, identity and cloud sources for early threat detection
Investigation and coordination of security incidents including triage, threat hunting, root cause analysis and documentation in shift and on-call service
Further development of detection rules and use cases as well as conducting threat and vulnerability analyses for continuous improvement of cyber defence
Support of customers within the framework of managed security services, including security reviews, reporting and advice on specific security measures
Technical co-responsibility as co-lead of the ITAR team with focus on shift planning, prioritisation, resource coordination, coaching and deputising for the team management
Qualifications:
Education in computer science with advanced training HF/FH or comparable practical qualification
Several years of professional experience in security operations, SOC or cyber defence
Sound knowledge of Microsoft Sentinel, Defender XDR and KQL as well as network, endpoint, identity and cloud security
Practical experience in incident response, threat hunting, detection engineering and vulnerability management; willingness for 24/7 on-call service
Analytical and decisive personality with leadership and coaching experience, high personal responsibility and strong communication skills; very good German and English skills; residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
