Then you are exactly right at Test & Technology of the Touring Club Switzerland (TCS). As a Junior Project Manager, you will take responsibility for technical comparative tests, research projects, and the further development of our testing methods. A focus of your work is the technical management of our two-wheeler test bench as well as conducting tests in the field of electromobility, ranging from passenger cars and motorcycles to e-bikes, e-scooters, and other micro-mobility vehicles.
Your Challenges
- Technical responsibility for the operation and further development of the two-wheeler test bench.
- Planning, organising, and conducting comparative and product tests in the field of vehicle technology.
- Project management in the field of electromobility for vehicles of all categories (passenger cars, motorcycles, e-bikes, cargo bikes, e-scooters, and other micro-mobility vehicles).
- Development, execution, and documentation of technical measurement procedures and testing methods.
- Participation in national and international research projects.
- Evaluation of technical measurement data as well as preparation of technical reports and publications.
- Advising internal and external stakeholders on technical issues.
- Presentation of test results to the media, partners, and the public.
- Collaboration with national and international partner organisations and research institutions.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree (FH, ETH, EPFL or university) in vehicle technology, automotive engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field.
- Enthusiasm for vehicle technology and new forms of mobility.
- Interest in electromobility and innovative vehicle technologies.
- Analytical thinking as well as a structured and independent working style.
- Enjoyment of practical development and testing work.
- High initiative, teamwork skills, and strong communication abilities.
- Very good German or French skills as well as good knowledge of a second national language. Good English skills are an advantage.
- Driving licence category B.
Advantageous:
- Initial practical experience in vehicle technology or measurement technology.
- Knowledge of electromobility and high-voltage technology.
- Experience with measurement systems and data analysis.
- Additional driving licence categories (A, C).
