For our ROCKEN partner, an established company in the financial services sector located in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced individual as Senior Accountant. You will take on a versatile range of tasks between accounts payable and financial accounting and support the preparation of financial statements. In this role, you will work closely with mandate managers and actively contribute to process improvements and system implementations.
Responsibilities:
You manage accounts payable / payment transactions
You manage financial accounting including reconciliation of subsidiary ledgers for accounts payable/receivable
You independently prepare interim and annual financial statements and support the mandate manager with more complex closing tasks
You prepare VAT returns and tax declarations for legal entities
You manage payroll accounting and prepare social security declarations as well as salary certificates
You take on HR administration tasks
You optionally support the training of apprentices
Qualifications:
You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship
You bring practical experience in fiduciary, accounting, or personnel administration
You are a fiduciary or accounting clerk, or currently training for this role
You demonstrate a high digital affinity and sound knowledge of MS Office programmes
You communicate confidently in German and have English skills at B2 level
You impress with a positive work attitude, commitment, and precise working style
You are communicative with a strong team and customer orientation and enjoy responsibility as well as collaboration with mandate managers and clients
