Finance Team Leader 90-100% (m/f/d)

Role:
For our ROCKEN partner, a company in general planning, architecture and construction management in the Zurich/Zurich Lake area, we are looking for an experienced individual to lead the finances while working closely with the projects. In this role, you combine financial expertise with a good understanding of processes in planning and construction. You lead the finance team, work closely with management and actively develop the financial processes.
Responsibilities:
You lead the finance team both professionally and personally and continuously develop tasks and processes in the finance area
You are responsible for the quality and timely execution of ongoing financial processes as well as the management of financial accounting
You prepare and coordinate fee invoices for planning and construction management services
You are responsible for the commercial change order management of contracts
You monitor fees, change orders, incoming payments and open items and are responsible for debtor and creditor management including dunning
You work closely with management, project managers and project teams and support with financial, contractual and order-related issues
You prepare documents for externally prepared financial statements and drive the digitalisation of financial processes forward
Qualifications:
You bring solid experience in finance and accounting as well as experience in leading a team
Ideally, you have experience in an architecture, engineering, planning or construction company and a good understanding of planning processes, project workflows, fees and contract structures
You have experience with fee invoicing and commercial change order management
You work confidently with digital work processes; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
You work in a structured, precise and independent manner, think entrepreneurially, enjoy leadership and communicate financial contexts clearly to project teams
