Responsibilities

Purchasing and order preparation

• Place orders with our suppliers.
• Receive descriptions and material requirements transmitted by the Installation and Maintenance departments.
• Gather and prepare the necessary materials for interventions within the allotted time.
• Anticipate needs to ensure the availability of materials for technicians.

Locksmithing and mechanical work

• Prepare locksmith supports and elements.
• Cut metal elements according to needs.
• Assemble parts by welding.
• Carry out finishing and painting work.
• Be capable of performing turning and milling operations on metal parts from plans.

Reception and stock management

• Receive goods delivered by suppliers.
• Check order conformity, product quality, and dimensions.
• Store and organise goods in designated locations.
• Manage stock levels to meet delivery and intervention deadlines.
• Coordinate requests from project managers and the Maintenance department according to stock availability.
• Prepare the necessary materials for installations and interventions the day before, to optimise technicians’ working time.

Equipment and infrastructure management

• Manage tool and workwear allocations.
• Ensure management of the petrol pump.
• Oversee the daily needs of the Épalinges building: heating oil, maintenance, bins, etc.
• Ensure monitoring and availability of equipment necessary for the teams’ smooth operation.

Profile sought

• Assertive personality, able to impose oneself tactfully and enforce the established organisation.
• Excellent ability to work independently.
• Comfortable coordinating with different company departments.
• Practical sense and taste for versatile work.

Education and experience

• Locksmith CFC, a key asset.
• Additional experience in warehousing/logistics.
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar field.
• Experience in locksmithing, mechanics and/or stock management is a significant advantage.

Knowledge and skills

• Good command of computer tools.
• Experience with an ERP, ideally Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Navision.
• Reading and understanding technical plans.
• Practical knowledge in locksmithing, welding, turning, and milling.
