Planning, operation and further development of highly available enterprise networks for corporate, workplace, guest and productive environments
Administration of FortiGate/Fortinet and Cisco Meraki including firewalling, routing, switching, VPN and WLAN
Further development of network segmentation, security zones and firewall rules for business-critical systems
Establishment and support of secure hybrid cloud connections between on-premises and public cloud infrastructures
Analysis and resolution of complex network and performance incidents, automation of recurring tasks as well as collaboration with system, cloud, security and application teams
Qualifications:
Completed training in computer science, network or system technology or comparable qualification
Several years of experience in enterprise network engineering with TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP and firewalling
Very good knowledge of Fortinet/FortiGate and ideally Cisco Meraki
Experience with network security, segmentation, hybrid cloud, Azure networking as well as application gateway, reverse proxy, load balancer or WAF
Structured and independent working style, analytical troubleshooting and good communication; fluent German, good English; knowledge of Terraform, Ansible, APIs, NAC or Zero Trust is an advantage
Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate or work as a cross-border commuter
