Deputy Team Leader Curing/Cooked Ham

What you will achieve

• You take on a professional leadership role and supervise a manageable number of employees with the same functions
• You independently implement the department's tasks according to the instructions received
• You ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations
• You take on simple management tasks in the production system and actively contribute your broad knowledge of the products
• You produce semi-finished and finished products in charcuterie production
• You operate machines and are responsible for their setup, maintenance and preparatory work
• You are deployed as a floater in the production area and independently carry out specialist tasks as they arise

What you bring

• Education: Completed vocational training (EFZ)
• Specialisation: (e.g. meat specialist or food technologist)
• Professional experience: You have solid practical and implementation knowledge in an extended area of responsibility (e.g. products, plant operation, hygiene and safety regulations). You show openness to change and bring coordination skills
• You are physically resilient and willing to work in an environment with noise, cold and draughts
• You have practical experience in meat processing and are versatile
• You are willing to work irregular hours and shifts
• You live the values of the Migros Group and are committed to occupational safety and compliance
• German (B1)
