In this role, you take overall leadership and further development of the ICT department and ensure the smooth operation of the entire ICT landscape. You are responsible for the management, coordination, and leadership of ICT projects and work closely with an external SPOC partner to implement change requests efficiently. Additionally, you ensure through training, instructions, and documentation that users can competently apply the ICT solutions. Another focus lies in your function as data protection officer, where you ensure compliance with data protection regulations and shape the corresponding processes.
Responsibilities:
Technical responsibility for the ICT landscape as well as continuous development of the systems, services, and digital work tools used
Planning and control of IT projects as well as coordination of technical changes together with external technology partners
Ensuring reliable ICT operations and acting as a central interface between internal departments, service providers, and other stakeholders
Responsibility for data protection issues and promotion of secure system use through training, knowledge transfer, and up-to-date documentation
Qualifications:
Education in the IT field or commercial background with qualified further training in computer science or business informatics
Experience in a coordinating ICT function and ideally knowledge of the structures and processes of a public organisation
Practical experience in implementing IT projects as well as the ability to independently advance various technical and organisational topics
Communicative and service-oriented personality with negotiation skills, initiative, and interest in new digital solutions
