We are looking on behalf of a company, a major player specialised in the design and manufacture of high-precision components, seeking as part of its expansion a:
Senior Buyer / Purchasing Specialist (M/F)
MISSIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assessment and anticipation of needs (from common consumables to raw materials).
- Rationalisation and overall optimisation of company expenses.
- Creation of long-term partnerships with service providers and continuous optimisation of purchasing processes.
- Identification, selection and auditing of suppliers in close collaboration with the
internal teams.
- Negotiation of contractual and commercial terms (prices, deadlines, quality,
payment terms).
- Guarantee of supply of parts and products required to ensure production continuity.
- Rigorous monitoring of orders, deliveries, and proactive management of follow-ups.
- Updating, maintenance and reliability of the item database.
- Complete administration of the supplier order portfolio.
Qualifications
PROFILE SOUGHT:
- Higher education degree specialised in purchasing, logistics, supply chain or
equivalent.
- Proven experience of at least 5 years in a similar role, ideally within a demanding industrial environment.
- Proficiency in ERP-type information systems (knowledge of specialised software
is an asset; Proconcept a plus).
- Strong knowledge of contractual aspects and commercial practices.
- Excellent mastery of negotiation techniques.
- Strong analytical skills and synthesis ability.
- Rigour, organisational skills and good resistance to pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and strong team spirit.
