Accounting Specialist (m/f/d)

Role:
An internationally oriented Swiss research and technology organisation working on pioneering questions in natural and engineering sciences. In a highly specialised environment, fundamental and applied research are combined and new technologies developed that are relevant in the long term for science, business, and society.

Responsibilities:
You support the financial statements and ensure the quality of external financial reporting.
In the area of treasury and financial risk management, you take on a central role and contribute to short- and medium-term financial and liquidity planning.
You prepare meaningful financial analyses, management reports, and ad hoc evaluations, thereby creating sound decision-making bases.
For tax and VAT-related issues, you act as a competent specialist and also accompany financial special topics in demanding construction projects.
Qualifications:
A further education in finance and accounting at the specialist certificate level as well as several years of professional experience form your professional foundation.
You are very familiar with Swiss VAT.
A pronounced analytical mindset, independence, and confident handling of SAP and Excel characterise you.
You communicate very well in German and have good English skills.
