District Heating Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF110,000 - 115,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a technically skilled professional as Project Manager: District Heating & Energy Infrastructure for the development and realisation of sustainable heat supply solutions in Eastern Switzerland. Depending on experience, you will take on overall or partial projects and accompany district heating plants and heat networks from conception and planning through implementation to handover into operation. You will be responsible for the technical and economic project management and coordinate municipalities, energy supply companies, authorities, customers and system partners. The position combines energy and heat technology with project management and the further development of a climate-friendly heat infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Management of overall and partial projects for district heating plants and heat networks from conception to commissioning
Planning and realisation of heat generation, heat distribution and transfer systems
Planning and coordination of extensions, upgrades and optimisations of existing heat networks
Responsibility for costs, deadlines, quality and project risks as well as preparation of regular project status reports
Preparation of feasibility studies, variant comparisons and decision-making bases for new heat projects
Creation and evaluation of technical specifications, economic calculations and project budgets
Coordination of interfaces between heat generation, pipeline construction, civil engineering, building technology and heat transfer stations
Management and coordination with municipalities, authorities, energy supply companies, specialist planners and system partners
Support in acquisition, customer consulting, tendering and project development for new heat networks
Accompaniment of tenders, awards, construction execution and commissioning
Creation and maintenance of project, cost and technical documentation until handover to operations
Participation in the optimisation of internal project processes and standards as well as in technical working groups
Qualifications:
Technical basic training EFZ in building, energy, heating or construction technology or comparable qualification
Further education at HF/FH level in building, energy or construction technology is an advantage
Professional experience in project management or project coordination, ideally in energy, heat, infrastructure or plant construction
Expertise in district heating, heat generation, pipeline construction or building technology is an advantage
Knowledge in project controlling, cost planning, tendering and technical project execution
Further education in project management or business administration is an advantage
Good user knowledge of Microsoft 365 and common project management tools
