Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced specialist project manager for demanding rail infrastructure projects in the track area. Our client operates a regional rail network and is responsible for its expansion, renewal and maintenance with a focus on safe and reliable public transport. Responsibilities:
Technical responsibility for the track area within rail infrastructure projects
Management and coordination of renewal, expansion and maintenance projects in the track area
Control of external planners, construction companies and technical specialists
Ensuring cost, schedule, quality and safety targets
Review and support of project planning, tenders and execution documents
Coordination of work with operations, maintenance and other internal specialist departments
Support of construction sites, inspections and commissioning as well as monitoring of proper execution
Participation in the further development of standards, processes and technical solutions in the track specialist area
Qualifications:
Completed FH/ETH degree in civil engineering or comparable technical education
Several years of experience in project management and construction project leadership
Professional experience in railway construction, track construction or rail infrastructure is an advantage
Knowledge in planning, execution and maintenance of track systems
Very good German language skills spoken and written
