Software Engineer Realtime Applications (all)
Your field of activity
- You develop central components for a modern real-time data platform and accompany it from conception to productive operation
- Together with specialists from different disciplines, you shape architecture and design decisions for scalable data and platform solutions
- You implement streaming solutions with Apache Kafka and Apache Flink and ensure their stability and quality
- The further development of deployment, automation and operational processes is part of your area of responsibility
- You analyse complex technical issues in a structured manner and derive pragmatic solutions for sustainable platforms
- With your know-how, you contribute to building a new data platform that significantly advances BKW's forecasting capabilities
Your strengths
- You have several years of experience in software engineering, data engineering or platform engineering and are confident in production-near environments
- Sound knowledge of Apache Kafka and Apache Flink enables you to successfully implement distributed systems and streaming architectures
- You use German and English confidently in everyday work and communicate appropriately at different levels
- An independent and proactive working style characterises you and you recognise tasks before they need to be assigned
- Openness and a constructive approach to different stakeholders help you develop viable solutions together
- Knowledge of Java or Python as well as experience with Kubernetes, Azure Cloud or modern
