Maintenance Technician
for the Canton of Valais
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve issues with gaming systems, ticket dispensers, and various equipment at sales points and in the workshop
- Prepare a work report for each intervention using the provided computer systems
- Install, remove and modify equipment at sales points
- Prepare incident reports
- Prepare equipment for sales point installations
- Repair and update equipment in the workshop
- Monitor parts inventory to maintain sufficient stock
- Place orders for spare parts and maintenance products
- Provide on-call services
- Cover for team colleagues during absences in other geographical areas of French-speaking Switzerland and at the Lausanne workshop
Profile:
- Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as mechanic-electronic technician
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the field
- Driving licence
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to analyse and resolve technical and electronic problems
- Native French speaker, oral knowledge of English is desirable
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Flexibility and sense of responsibility
- Open-mindedness
- Willingness to work certain Saturdays on a rotating basis
