YOUR TASKS
- You independently and professionally carry out maintenance, intermediate and basic cleaning tasks
- You share the day responsibility with another specialist and alternate in taking it on
- As day responsible, you coordinate the cleaning tasks and ensure that the specified quality, hygiene and safety standards are met
- You prepare the discharge list and ensure that the necessary discharge cleanings are carried out accordingly
- You support the team with daily cleaning tasks and are a reliable contact person for questions
- In the absence of supervisors, you organise personnel shortages or absences and ensure the smooth running of daily operations
- As day responsible, you are responsible for the cleanliness and order of the laundry room as well as the proper washing and preparation of the daily laundry
- You share responsibility for the maintenance of equipment and machines as well as for the management of the storage
- You recognise defects, damages or special situations early, initiate necessary measures and report them to the responsible authority
- You assist in carrying out quality controls and contribute to the continuous assurance of cleaning quality
- You work closely with various professional groups and departments and ensure the flow of information
- You take on special tasks as needed and support organisational and operational matters
- You work efficiently, economically and responsibly with materials, equipment and resources
- Additionally, you take on a Sunday shift once or twice a month
- Two to three times a year, you take on an on-call shift from Saturday to Sunday
YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed training as a Housekeeping Specialist EFZ or hold a comparable qualification
- You bring solid professional experience in the housekeeping field, ideally in hospital or healthcare settings
- Commitment and willingness to learn, as well as quality awareness, are among your strengths
- You work independently, reliably and are helpful
- You are organisationally skilled, set priorities correctly and can react flexibly to short-term changes
- You keep a cool head and maintain an overview even in stressful situations
- You have a strong awareness of hygiene and safety
- Team spirit and enjoyment of working with employees from different cultures characterise you
- You work customer-, service- and client-oriented and enjoy taking on responsibility
- A neat appearance and very good German language skills complete your profile
