Company Description
We are looking for one of our clients specialised in architecture, interior decoration and notably shop window decoration / fittings:
-A Manufacturing and Logistics Manager (M/F)
The manufacturing and logistics manager organises, leads and optimises the activity to ensure safety, quality, respect of deadlines and control of manufacturing and shipping costs.
They supervise the managers of the carpentry, resin casting, laser cutting and plotter teams, as well as the logistics, methods and industrialisation teams. They monitor performance, anticipate production needs, and deploy a continuous improvement approach in close coordination with other departments.
Job Description
- Team management: supervise, motivate and develop team skills
- Planning and organisation: manage priorities, resources and production deadlines
- Mastery of manufacturing and shipping processes: Carpentry, resin casting, painting, cutting, logistics
- Performance management: Implement quality, cost, deadline and productivity indicators
- Problem solving and continuous improvement: identify malfunctions and implement corrective actions.
Profile sought
- Proven experience in team management
- Ability to work cross-functionally with other departments
- Knowledge of Lean Management methods
- Experience with an ERP, preferably SAP S4
- Interest in craftsmanship
- Sense of quality
- Leadership: unite teams and provide clear direction.
- Rigour: ensure compliance with procedures, standards and objectives.
- Responsiveness: know how to quickly manage unforeseen events and emergencies.
