Exciting tasks await:

• You maintain, catalogue and check physical and digital media with Alma according to RDA
• You support and advise pupils and teachers in a modern secondary school media library
• You actively participate in acquisitions and the further development of the collection
• You contribute actively to the development and implementation of new services and offers, projects and mediation formats
• Support in setting up the media library in the new building

What you bring:

• Training as an information specialist or comparable background (also possible alongside studies)
• Experience with the library software ALMA (RDA/GND, SLSP)
• Precise and independent working style, good communication skills and service orientation
• Broad general knowledge and interest in current topics such as digital media and AI
• Interested in helping to build something new and enjoys working with young people

Your working environment

The Stein Cantonal School was newly opened in August 2025 in a provisional school facility in Stein, enabling pupils to benefit from a wide range of offerings in the grammar school and specialised secondary school in the Fricktal region.

The school will continue to grow until 2029, expand its educational offerings and move into the planned new building from 2029. Further information can be found at:
