Your Responsibilities
- Further development of modern, complex Java-/Jakarta-EE applications in central core systems
- Working with current technologies such as event- and workflow-based architectures, Docker, Kubernetes, and REST interfaces
- Development and evaluation of technical solution approaches including prototyping as well as ensuring high software quality through automated tests and code reviews
- Active participation in the entire development process from conception to operation ("You build it, you run it")
- Application of modern engineering practices such as Clean Code, Clean Architecture, TDD, BDD, and DDD
- Collaboration in agile, SAFe-oriented teams within a release train model
- Close cooperation with experienced colleagues and active shaping of technical developments
Our Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in software development in the Java-EE-/Jakarta-EE environment
- Very good knowledge of Java as well as experience with technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, event-driven architecture, REST, and ideally Cucumber
- Passion for backend development and complex, scalable system landscapes
- Experience in refactoring and further development of existing (legacy) systems
- Understanding of modern software architecture and high quality standards for code and design
- Openness to new technologies and continuous learning
- Completed training or studies in computer science or software development (alternative career paths also welcome)
- Team-oriented, structured, and responsible working style
