Oracle & SQL Server Database Administrator (m/f/d)

On behalf of our client based in Fribourg, we are looking for an Oracle & SQL Server Database Administrator (m/f/d) responsible for the operation, support, and maintenance of database environments.
Your mission
- Administer and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database environments.
- Ensure the processing, monitoring, and resolution of incidents and service requests related to the database scope.
- Supervise the availability, performance, capacity, and backups of databases, and analyse any service degradations.
- Perform routine maintenance, restoration operations, as well as user, rights, and access management.
- Write and maintain procedures, work instructions, and documentation necessary for the operation of the scope.
Your profile
- Professional experience of 5 to 10 years in the administration and operation of Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Strong skills in diagnosis, incident resolution, monitoring, and operational maintenance of databases.
- Good knowledge of IT support processes and an ITSM tool, ideally Jira.
- High autonomy, sense of responsibility, and ability to manage priorities in an operational environment.
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to write clear, structured, and usable technical documentation.
- Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
- Residence within 45 minutes of Fribourg.
