We are seeking an experienced and impartial professional to serve as an Ombuds and Personne de Confiance, providing confidential, independent, and informal support to individuals within the organization. This role is designed to foster a respectful and productive work environment by offering guidance, conflict resolution, and systemic insights while complementing existing formal mechanisms.

Missions
- Provide confidential consultations to staff, consultants, and interns on workplace concerns.
- Offer informal resolution services including coaching, mediation, and facilitation.
- Guide individuals to address issues directly with relevant parties when appropriate.
- Identify and report systemic trends and recommend improvements to organizational policies.
- Deliver outreach and training to raise awareness of Ombuds and Personne de Confiance services.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and neutrality in all interactions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders while preserving independence and impartiality.
- Stay current with best practices and professional standards in the Ombuds field.
- Independence: Operates independently from management and governance structures.
- Neutrality and Impartiality: Maintains an unbiased stance and does not advocate for any party.
- Confidentiality: Ensures all communications are kept strictly confidential, with limited exceptions.
- Informality: Functions outside formal grievance or adjudication processes.
- Discretion: Exercises judgment in determining appropriate actions and interventions.
- Protection Against Retaliation: Safeguards individuals who seek assistance from retaliation.
Profil du candidat
- - Minimum 5 years of experience in Ombuds, Personne de Confiance, or conflict resolution roles.
- - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including active listening and empathy.
- - Ability to remain neutral and impartial under pressure.
- - Experience in multicultural and international environments.
- - Fluency in English; proficiency in French is highly desirable.
- - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
- - High integrity, discretion, and commitment to confidentiality.
Conditions et Avantages
- - Location: Geneva, Switzerland.
