What is my role?

As head of the audit department of our client, you actively contribute your expertise and take on a central role in the company. You lead the audit department both professionally and organisationally and are responsible for the proper and timely handling of all audit mandates. In your role, you independently conduct regular and limited audits according to Swiss audit law and review annual and consolidated financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations. You manage and maintain a diverse client portfolio with national and international customers and advise them competently in the areas of accounting, auditing, and compliance. Your responsibilities also include carrying out special audits and handling business management issues. In doing so, you work closely across disciplines with the fiduciary and tax consulting departments. Furthermore, you actively contribute to the further development of quality standards and internal processes, thus helping to continuously improve the company.

What do I need to be successful?

Our client is looking for a personality with a federal diploma as a certified public accountant and several years of professional experience in auditing, ideally gained in a small or medium-sized Swiss fiduciary or audit firm. You have sound knowledge of Swiss accounting and audit law and enjoy the professional leadership and development of a team. Entrepreneurial thinking characterises you, as does the interest in taking responsibility and actively contributing to the further development of the company. Your working style is independent, structured, responsible, and solution-oriented. You bring a high level of service orientation and enjoy direct customer contact. Fluent German in spoken and written form is a matter of course for you; English skills at B1 level.
