What you bring
- Take responsibility for the reminder and rent collection process for real estate portfolios in French-speaking Switzerland in a specialised transversal role.
- Manage independently all collection measures (including debt enforcement, lease terminations, and eviction/expulsion procedures), in compliance with tenancy law and the Swiss Federal Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (DEBA).
- Process and manage acts of default as well as monitor outstanding receivables.
- Independently handle correspondence with tenants, authorities, debt enforcement offices, and other external contacts.
- Support the property management team on issues related to reminders, terminations, and evictions outside the core collection process.
- Participate in the preparation, control, and validation of the monthly reminder cycle.
- Review, manage, and follow up on amortisation agreements and payment arrangements.
- Provide cover within the Collection and Reminder Management team.
- Contribute to the continuous optimisation of collection and reminder management processes.
Your profile
- Completed basic commercial training (CFC commercial employee or equivalent qualification).
- Several years of professional experience in collection, receivables management, or accounting, ideally in the real estate sector.
- Good knowledge of Swiss tenancy law and the Swiss Federal Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act (DEBA) is an advantage.
- Proficient in MS Office tools; knowledge of Garaio REM is a plus.
- Excellent command of German and French, both spoken and written.
- Independent, structured, and rigorous working method.
- Assertiveness, excellent communication skills, and ease in interacting with diverse interlocutors.
