Heating Service Technician (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF75,000 - 80,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a qualified professional as a Heating Service Technician / Heating Installer EFZ for an established company in the field of heating technology and building technology services. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, repair, and troubleshooting of modern heating systems for private and commercial customers. The focus is on technical fault diagnosis, optimisation of heating systems, material management, and independent service assignments. The position combines practical heating technology, modern energy systems, and diverse service tasks with a company vehicle and attractive training opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Independent execution of service, maintenance, and repair work on heating systems in residential and commercial buildings
Systematic fault analysis and troubleshooting of heat generators, heating distribution, circulation pumps, and control systems
Maintenance and servicing of modern heating systems such as heat pumps, oil and gas heating, and district heating stations
Replacement and repair of technical components including valves, fittings, pumps, expansion vessels, and safety devices
Conducting functional and safety checks as well as reviewing operating parameters and system functions
Optimising existing heating systems by adjusting control settings, checking hydraulic functions, and improving energy efficiency
Technical advice to private and commercial customers regarding faults, maintenance needs, system operation, and possible modernisation measures
Organisation and procurement of spare parts and consumables including material orders and management of the service vehicle
Digital recording of service and maintenance reports including documentation of completed work, spare parts, and working hours
Carrying out minor modifications and adjustments to existing heating installations as well as support during commissioning
Participation in on-call duty and handling urgent fault and repair assignments according to deployment planning
Qualifications:
Completed training as a Heating Installer EFZ or equivalent recognised training in building technology
Professional experience in heating service, maintenance, or repair of heating systems is an advantage
Sound knowledge of heating and heat generation technology, especially heat pumps, heating distribution, and control systems
Experience in fault diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of heating systems as well as in the replacement of technical components
Knowledge of relevant SIA standards and safety regulations as well as basics of energy-efficient heating systems
Good German language skills in spoken and written form as well as basic knowledge in digital service and maintenance reporting
Driving licence category B
