In this role, you will take on a versatile and responsible position in a dynamic real estate company. As a Facility Manager / Caretaker (m/f/d), you contribute to the professional care and maintenance of affordable housing. You ensure that the properties and facilities are in impeccable condition and function smoothly. You always keep an overview of various areas of responsibility and ensure a high level of service quality. With your commitment, you make an important contribution to an attractive and well-managed living environment.
Responsibilities:
You ensure the maintenance, upkeep, and safety of buildings and outdoor areas and undertake seasonal tasks including winter services
You independently carry out maintenance work and minor repairs
You coordinate and supervise repair and maintenance work by external tradespeople
You operate and check building services systems such as heating and ventilation systems and perform minor maintenance tasks
You assist with apartment inspections, preliminary inspections, and handovers
You are the central contact person for residents, administration, tradespeople, and internal specialist departments
You contribute to the preparation of the annual maintenance and investment budget
Qualifications:
You have completed a vocational training in a craft or technical profession (EFZ); further training as a caretaker or maintenance specialist with a federal certificate is an advantage
Ideally, you have several years of professional experience in technical building maintenance, facility management, or caretaking
You possess strong manual skills, technical knowledge, and an independent, customer-oriented working style
You hold a category B driving licence and have good PC and MS Office skills
You communicate very well in German
