Your area of activity
Within our Thermal Networks Service, you will hold a key position in the operation of our heat production facilities with the unique opportunity to participate in Viteos's energy transition.
Your role requires managing a team of 6 employees and coordinating all maintenance and operational activities of our various district heating production plants. The heat producer fleet includes wood boilers, fossil boilers (gas and/or oil), industrial heat pumps and heat recovery installations. You will also contribute to the development of our facilities to improve their availability, energy efficiency and ease of operation.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it:
- Supervise, support and develop a team of 6 employees
- Plan the team's activities, set priorities and ensure work follow-up
- Participate in the on-call service, approximately one week every 6 to 8 weeks
- Ensure the availability, reliability and safety of the production plants
- Define, plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance operations (CMMS)
- Ensure compliance with applicable safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Keep technical documentation up to date (schematic diagrams, list of installed equipment, etc.)
- Leverage the operations unit's experience in projects led by the technical office

Requirements you must meet:
- Hold a technician diploma or a Federal VET Diploma accompanied by a certificate or training considered equivalent or higher, in a technical field
- Have 5 or more years of experience in the thermal energy and managerial field
- Possess very good knowledge of thermal energy production and distribution systems. Knowledge of the overall operation of a district heating network is an advantage
- Possess very good knowledge in mechanics, hydraulics and DCS
- Enjoy fieldwork, team management and collaboration with different trades
- Have good analytical skills to manage priorities and make the right decisions
- Be proficient with standard IT tools (MS Office, Outlook, etc.)
- Hold a category B driving licence
