The general medical practice Praxis at the Station, ideally located on the Station Square in Bienne, within the MEDIN health centre, serves a population catchment area of 70,000 inhabitants as well as 60,000 commuters.

In addition to basic medical care, including a complete laboratory and conventional radiology, our practice offers quick access to a wide range of general medical services as well as an emergency service (Walk-In).

Thanks to our close collaboration with the other MEDIN units on site, we guarantee comprehensive and complete medical care. Our multilingual general practitioners also benefit from an internal network allowing, when necessary, to directly refer patients to specialised services such as nutritional consultation, physiotherapy, radiology, gynaecology or cardiology, directly within the same building.

Your tasks – our position

• Welcoming, caring for and administratively registering patients
• Managing appointments and coordinating consultations
• Ensuring a warm and professional welcome for patients
• Supporting various administrative tasks
• Performing medical procedures such as blood sampling, infusions, dressing changes, lung function tests and other diagnostic examinations
• Performing ECGs, 24-hour blood pressure measurements as well as digital radiographs
• Participating in internal laboratory activities, including sample collection and preparation of external analyses
• Managing the practice pharmacy, including ordering and stock management
• Contributing to the smooth running and efficiency of the entire practice

Your skills – our expectations

• Completed training as a medical assistant CFC or equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in a medical practice or group practice is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German or French, with good knowledge of the other language
• Good IT skills; experience with the CuraMed practice software is an advantage
• Ease in patient contact and enjoyment of teamwork
• Independent, structured and reliable working method
• Discretion, sense of responsibility, empathy and resilience to stress
