HVAC Service Technician (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for service, assembly and maintenance work on ventilation and HVAC systems. You will look after systems for private, commercial and industrial customers, carry out installations and undertake systematic fault finding and troubleshooting. In addition to service calls, your duties also include commissioning, functional checks and minor modifications. You will work largely independently in the field and ensure reliable technical operation of the systems you manage.
Responsibilities:
Carrying out service, assembly and installation work on ventilation and HVAC systems
Independent fault finding, diagnosis and troubleshooting
Performing maintenance, repair and servicing work
Commissioning of ventilation systems and building technology components
Conducting functional checks and technical inspections after service and repair assignments
Carrying out modification, adjustment and optimisation work on existing systems
Checking mechanical and electrotechnical system components and interfaces
Independent technical support of private, commercial and industrial customers
Coordinating service calls and liaising with customers, internal departments and suppliers
Recording completed work in service reports and technical documentation
Ensuring compliance with relevant safety, quality and installation requirements
Qualifications:
Completed training as ventilation system builder EFZ or comparable building technology qualification
Several years of professional experience in ventilation service, system construction or HVAC maintenance
Further training as a service technician is an advantage
Sound knowledge of ventilation technology, fault diagnosis, maintenance and commissioning
Basic knowledge of electrical engineering, control technology and HVAC interfaces is an advantage
Good German language skills spoken and written
Driving licence category B
