Role:
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you actively shape the security of modern networks. Concepts such as Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) are not only implemented theoretically by you but also brought into real customer environments. You combine technical depth with a clear view of risks and customer needs. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and thus help shape the direction within the team.
Responsibilities:
You plan changes and ICT projects, implement them, and hand them over cleanly to operations.
You accompany complex escalations, risk analyses, and technical reviews with your expertise.
You design network and security architectures, implement them, and document them clearly.
Furthermore, you specifically expand awareness offerings, assessments, and managed security services.
You sharpen best practices and standards and further develop the technical roadmap for cyber security and networking.
In addition, you support presales, sales, and internal teams with technical questions and share your knowledge with colleagues and trainees.
Qualifications:
You have completed basic ICT training. Further education at HF level or equivalent is a plus.
You bring several years of experience in engineering network and security solutions.
Network segmentation, VPN, WLAN, switching, and firewall solutions are your technical home.
In addition, you have already worked with SASE architectures, ideally on a common platform of an established manufacturer.
You are familiar with customer projects, clean documentation, and technical standards from practice. You work independently, proceed methodically, and always think of customer benefit.
Moreover, you communicate confidently in German and read or write technical content in English with ease.
