Architect Execution Planning (m/f/d)

Role:

On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional for the planning and execution of demanding architectural and residential construction projects, starting from January 2027. You will accompany construction projects from design development and preliminary planning through to working and detailed planning and the physical realisation. The focus is on high-quality residential architecture, constructive detail development, CAD-supported planning with Archicad, as well as technical coordination with specialist planners and executing companies. The position combines creative project work with sound execution planning, building construction, and quality assurance in a versatile architectural environment.

Responsibilities:

• Independent handling of architectural and residential construction projects across several SIA project phases from preliminary planning to execution

• Participation in the development and elaboration of high-quality architectural designs as well as in preliminary and construction project planning

• Creation and coordination of working, detailed, and execution plans with Archicad 2D and 3D

• Development and elaboration of constructive detail solutions for façades, building envelopes, connections, interior fittings, and structural transitions

• CAD-supported 3D modelling and digital project processing including the creation and maintenance of building models

• Planning and optimisation of apartment layouts, access concepts, and constructive building structures

• Coordination and alignment with specialist planners, structural engineers, building services planners, and executing companies

• Review and integration of specialist planner and contractor plans regarding technical requirements, interfaces, and execution quality

• Participation in tenders, specifications, and award documents as well as technical clarifications with contractors

• Technical support of construction execution including handling execution queries, plan adjustments, and constructive optimisations

• Integration of sustainable construction methods, material-appropriate constructions, and energy-efficient building solutions into project planning

• Quality assurance and plan management considering SIA standards, building regulations, and project-specific quality requirements

Qualifications:

• Completed architecture studies at ETH/FH or comparable recognised higher education

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in a Swiss architectural office with a focus on project planning, working planning, and execution

• Experience in residential construction as well as in handling demanding new build and structural projects is an advantage

• Very good Archicad skills in 2D and 3D as well as experience in digital architectural and execution planning

• Sound knowledge of building construction, detailed planning, materialisation, and technical execution solutions

• Knowledge of Swiss SIA standards and building processes as well as experience in coordinating specialist planner and contractor plans

• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for technical documentation, planning coordination, and project meetings
