Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of a client, we are looking for an experienced professional as a Project Manager / Construction Manager in Building Construction for the independent management of demanding construction projects in the canton of Graubünden. You will accompany projects from tendering through execution to acceptance and construction accounting and take responsibility for costs, deadlines and quality. The focus is on construction management, contractor coordination, tendering and cost management as well as direct collaboration with clients and specialist planners. The position offers a high degree of personal responsibility and combines operational construction management with holistic project management.
Responsibilities:
Independent project and construction management of demanding new build, conversion and renovation projects
Management of projects from tendering and awarding through realisation to handover
Preparation and processing of tenders, cost estimates and specifications
Conducting offer comparisons, award recommendations and contractor negotiations
Responsibility for cost, schedule and quality management throughout the entire execution phase
Leadership and coordination of contractors, specialist planners, suppliers and other project participants
Organisation and chairing of construction, coordination and contractor meetings
Monitoring construction execution with regard to contracts, execution quality and plan specifications
Processing of claims, measurements, contractor invoices and construction accounts
Conducting acceptances, defect management and warranty work as well as coordinating project handover
Ongoing project controlling and reporting to clients and principals
Ensuring the application of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction regulations
Qualifications:
Further training as a certified construction manager, HF technician in building construction or comparable construction-technical qualification
Several years of professional experience in project and construction management of Swiss building construction projects
Sound knowledge of tendering, cost estimation, awarding and construction execution
Experience in cost management, construction accounting, claims management and project controlling
Very good knowledge of relevant SIA standards and Swiss construction processes
Very good German language skills spoken and written
Good Italian language skills for project execution in the region
