Management Controller (M/F/X)
New position - permanent role | Watchmaking | La Chaux-de-Fonds
As part of a new position creation, we are currently supporting an industrial SME of about 70 employees based in La Chaux-de-Fonds, recognised for its expertise in watchmaking subcontracting. To support its growth and strengthen performance management, we are looking for a: Industrial Management Controller (M/F)
Your mission Reporting to Management, you will be responsible for creating, structuring, and developing the management control function within the company. A true partner to operational teams and Management, you provide a clear and factual view of the company’s economic performance. Your role is to transform financial and industrial data into relevant indicators to guide strategic and operational decisions.
In this highly autonomous role, you will notably be responsible for: •Implementing tools, methods, and management control indicators adapted to industrial activity •Building and monitoring management dashboards intended for Management and department heads •Analysing production costs, margins, variances, and profitability of different activities •Participating in the development of cost prices and profitability analyses by product, client, or activity •Supporting production managers in monitoring their indicators and understanding results •Identifying levers to improve industrial and financial performance •Participating in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and action plans •Conducting ad hoc analyses to support the company’s strategic decisions •Structuring and securing data from various management systems •Contributing to the evolution of reporting tools and improvement of management processes
Your profile •Higher education in Finance, Management Control, or Business Economics (HEG, University or equivalent) •Proven initial experience in a management control role in a Swiss industrial environment •Good understanding of production mechanisms and issues related to industrial costs •Strong analytical, synthesis, and data interpretation skills •Excellent command of Excel and strong ease with IT tools •Experience with an industrial ERP and ideally with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or equivalent) •Sensitivity to information systems and data quality •Ability to work autonomously and build a newly created function •Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective interaction with various stakeholders, from the workshop to Management •Pragmatic, rigorous, proactive, and results-oriented personality
