Job Description
We are looking for a roving specialised case manager for the 6 sites for the Vaud Public Prosecutor's Office.
In this context, you will ensure the secretariat and the operation of the registry to which you are attached.
In addition to the activities below, you will maintain statistics and provide information to the various parties involved in the cases as needed.
Furthermore, you may be required to take minutes of hearings.
The Public Prosecutor's Office is the criminal prosecution authority for the entire Vaud territory. It therefore directs the preliminary criminal procedure and investigations into offences brought to its attention, when they concern adults. It also represents the prosecution before courts and various judicial bodies.
The Public Prosecutor's Office consists of the Central Public Prosecutor's Office, the 4 district offices, and the Cantonal Public Prosecutor's Office STRADA.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the secretariat and operation of the registry to which you are assigned
- Manage judicial files handled by the prosecutor of the registry to which you are assigned
- Provide information to litigants and partners in the criminal justice chain
- Assist the prosecutor or the registrar during hearings of the registry to which you are assigned
The Public Prosecutor's Office offers its staff flexibility options in organising working hours.
This position requires occasional travel, but not on a daily basis.

Qualifications
- Federal certificate of commercial employee or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience in the judicial field preferred
- Excellent command of spelling
- Rigour, adaptability and ease of working in a team
- Flexibility, stress resistance and discretion
- Respect for standards and procedures
- Sense of organisation and public service
- Clean criminal record and free from prosecutions or bankruptcy proceedings
- Ideally holding a driving licence and owning a private vehicle
Engaging in a secondary activity in the same field is considered a conflict of interest and is therefore incompatible with the position.
