Job Description
An ideal apprenticeship for problem solvers with a strong spatial imagination and a passion for technology and precision!
In this exciting training, you will perform the following tasks:
- Planning, developing and designing a wide variety of components, mechanical assemblies and systems for research and teaching
- Creating three-dimensional construction drawings on the computer using CAD programmes
- Preparing manufacturing documents and documentation
- Working in the field of vacuum technology and precision mechanics
The training lasts 4 years, including 6 months of external basic training at RAU (Regional Training Centre Au).
Profile
You love developing new things, tinkering with problems and are interested in different materials with their physical and mechanical properties. Your good technical understanding, your skills in technical sketching, your creativity as well as your precise and careful way of working support you in finding solutions.
You need a compulsory school leaving certificate for this apprenticeship and good grades in the following school subjects:
- Geometry
- Mathematics
- Physics
