Role:
You do not see endpoints as individual devices but as a scalable platform. In this position as Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer, you design the architecture of the client and mobile landscape within Microsoft 365 (M365) and make the fundamental technical decisions. Automation with PowerShell and a well-thought-out endpoint management with Microsoft Intune form your foundation. Your expertise counts here, and your standards shape the daily work of many employees.
Responsibilities:
You drive the Intune architecture forward and build standardised processes for onboarding, offboarding, licences, and permissions.
You define security standards for Windows and mobile devices and embed endpoint security policies as well as hardening specifications in the platform.
Additionally, you are responsible for release, update, and patch concepts around Windows clients and their controlled implementation.
You are responsible for zero-touch provisioning with Windows Autopilot and optimise packaging and software distribution.
Furthermore, you manage rollouts and migrations and investigate complex issues with thorough root cause analyses.
You also test new technologies in the endpoint environment with your own proofs of concept and update operational concepts.
Qualifications:
You have at least 5 years of experience in client or workplace engineering and have technically managed complex environments.
You are proficient in mobile device management (MDM), MAM, compliance rules, and configuration profiles.
You are also familiar with feature updates, patch management, and automated application deployments.
You script routinely and ideally have already implemented automations via Microsoft Graph.
Furthermore, you are knowledgeable in the administration of OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint and understand the interplay of identity and security.
You work in a structured manner, keep a cool head with tricky client problems, and communicate solutions clearly in both German and English.
