Role:
In this role, you actively shape system architecture and IT consulting and develop innovative, integrated ICT solutions that make buildings and cities smarter, more connected, and more sustainable. You are responsible for designing holistic, flexible, and intelligent solutions throughout the entire lifecycle of buildings, districts, and infrastructures. You combine technical excellence with strategic foresight to decisively advance digital transformation and the energy transition. You analyse complex requirements, translate them into viable architectures, and advise internal and external stakeholders on an equal footing. With your expertise, you shape pioneering projects and create measurable added value for all involved.
Responsibilities:
- You implement demanding enterprise projects for national and international customers.
- In this role, you analyse existing IT infrastructures and identify optimisation potentials.
- As lead system architect and IT consultant, you develop and implement modern system and network architectures and provide technical support to sales.
- You conduct technical analyses in 2nd-level support during disruptions and drive sustainable problem resolution.
- In this role, you manage customer solutions, continuously develop them, and utilise the latest findings from research and development.
- As lead system architect and IT consultant, you work closely with internal departments and external partners and actively shape the further development of the ICT area.
Qualifications:
- Completed vocational training in the IT field as well as further education at HF, FH, or university level (e.g., computer science, business informatics)
- At least 10 years of professional experience in a service-oriented IT environment with external customers
- Distinctive independent, responsible, and communicative personality with a solution-oriented, analytical, and systematic working style
- Solid practical experience with network, security, SaaS, virtualisation, UCC, and session border controller solutions
- Several years of experience in planning and implementing complex IT projects, ideally with manufacturer certifications (e.g., Alcatel-Lucent, AudioCodes, Microsoft, Freshworks)
- Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
