Security Engineer (m/f/d)
Responsibilities:
- Proactively ensure best practices and highest security standards for hundreds of systems, petabytes of data, and a unique SaaS that must run 24/7, 365 days a year.
- Create, improve, and enforce cybersecurity policies.
- Support IT and developers in creating secure solutions, including in cybersecurity.
- Practically define, configure, and maintain policies, protocols, and infrastructure to secure the company.
- Test, monitor, and identify vulnerabilities and provide practical support to remediate these cybersecurity weaknesses.
- Respond to security breaches and security incidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or a related field and/or relevant certifications and qualifications.
- Knowledge of best practices such as RBAC or Zero-Trust principles.
- Knowledge of security technologies and implementations such as firewalls, PAM, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and WAF solutions.
- Common infrastructure knowledge such as networking and Linux administration.
- Experience and/or knowledge of standards such as ISO 27001, NIST 800, etc. is an advantage.
- Programming skills in Python, Bash, or other scripting languages are an advantage.
- Previous and current participation in CTFs / wargames is an advantage.
- Very good written and spoken English skills are required.
