Senior Accountant - Focus on Consolidation 80-100% (m/f/d)

Responsibilities:
- Conducting the monthly consolidation of the financial data of all subsidiaries to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Preparation of consolidated financial statements according to IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER, to transparently present the company’s financial results.
- Monitoring and ensuring data quality and integrity in consolidation to guarantee reliability and accuracy.
- Analysing variances in financial reports and deriving measures to optimise financial performance.
- Collaborating with external auditors to ensure compliance and adherence to legal requirements.
- Developing and optimising consolidation processes and policies to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Training and supporting finance teams in subsidiaries to promote a uniform understanding of consolidation requirements.
- Participating in projects to improve financial reporting and systems to enhance the quality of financial information.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, e.g. Bachelor in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting.
- Several years of experience in financial accounting, ideally in a group environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS and Swiss GAAP FER to ensure compliance with international and national regulations.
- Experience with consolidation software for efficient execution of consolidation processes.
- Analytical skills to prepare precise reports and analyses that support decision-making.
- Team-oriented working style and strong communication skills to foster collaboration within the team.
- High personal responsibility and flexibility to adapt to changing requirements.
- Fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form for effective communication in an international environment.
