IT Quality Master (m/f/d)

What to expect

As a Quality Master and member of the interdisciplinary leadership teams of the two Release Trains Neo and Attack, you are responsible for the testing approach and ensure the quality of our insurance products.
You coordinate ART and cross-departmental tests of the products with the technical platforms on which they run, support the acceptance of new features, and drive the further development of the testing approach with a focus on test automation.

Your impact with us

You take responsibility for all ART and stream-wide tests – from conception & strategy, through execution & coordination to the meaningfulness of the testing activities.
You ensure that our tests are targeted and documented, cover relevant risks, and deliver real added value. Additionally, you take on the lateral and quality assurance professional leadership of the Business Testers and Quality Engineers. 

In your role, you define and develop the QA approach for the modernisation and further development of our insurance products in close coordination with the ART Troika.
As a permanent member, you actively participate in the ceremonies of the ART Troikas and consistently bring in the QA perspective. In stakeholder management, you actively and appropriately represent the QA interests of the ARTs.

You monitor the QA effectiveness in the Feature Teams using meaningful metrics and support the Product Managers in the acceptance of features.
The further development of the testing approach with a focus on test automation is a particular concern for you.
You also work closely with the other Quality Masters to accompany the Epic Owners in the final acceptance of portfolio epics.
In coordination with the Quality Architect and the Quality Masters of other ARTs, you ensure a common understanding of QA methodology, standards, and the use of testing tools, so that quality is consistently and sustainably secured across all ARTs.

Your profile

• Completed education or training in computer science, business informatics, or a similar field
• Experience as a Test Manager/Quality Master or several years of experience as a Quality Engineer with ambitions for further development
• Experience in the insurance industry, ideally from product development or classic product management, is an advantage
• Proven experience in building and optimising test processes and concepts as well as implementing test automation projects
• Certifications in testing, e.g. (ISTQB Advanced Level) and/or iSQI Certified Agile Tester are a plus
• Familiar with SAFe and agile methods as well as experience working with agile Product Management, Architecture, and Feature Teams
• Communicative, proactive, and team-oriented personality with pronounced logical-systematic thinking and management skills
• Very good German skills as well as good knowledge of English
