Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for a specialist as Project Manager: Traffic & Mobility Planning for the development and management of future-oriented projects in the field of overall traffic planning. You will develop technical foundations and concepts for a efficient and sustainable overall traffic system and accompany cantonal mobility projects from conception to political and technical coordination. In doing so, you coordinate municipalities, regional planning associations and cantonal specialist offices and work on cross-cutting topics such as digitalisation, parking, commercial traffic and participation. The position combines traffic and spatial planning with project management and tasks at the interface between administration, politics and the public.
Responsibilities:
Management and further development of projects in overall traffic and mobility planning
Development of traffic concepts, strategies and planning decision bases
Coordination and alignment of mobility projects with municipalities, regional planning associations and cantonal specialist offices
Technical handling of interfaces between traffic planning, spatial planning and infrastructure development
Representation of cantonal traffic and mobility projects towards external stakeholders
Participation in concepts and projects for the digitalisation and further development of mobility
Handling of specialist topics such as parking, commercial traffic and mobility management
Design and support of participation, communication and information processes in mobility projects
Analysis of traffic developments, mobility needs and spatial impacts as a basis for planning decisions
Preparation of statements, technical reports and decision bases for projects and consultation documents
Support in coordinating different traffic carriers and mobility forms within the framework of overall traffic planning
Accompaniment of projects within political and internal administrative planning and decision-making processes
Qualifications:
University degree at FH, ETH or university level in traffic planning, spatial planning, infrastructure systems, geography or a comparable field
Professional experience in traffic, mobility or spatial planning
Sound knowledge in overall traffic planning, mobility concepts and infrastructure development
Experience in project management and interdisciplinary coordination of planning projects
Knowledge of political, cantonal or municipal planning and decision-making processes is an advantage
Experience in preparing technical reports, statements and planning decision bases
Very good German language skills spoken and written
