Security Solutions Technician (M/F) - Video Surveillance & Access Control
Company Description
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Security Solutions Technician to strengthen the technical teams in Romandy. This position is primarily aimed at technicians wishing to develop in an environment combining physical security solutions such as video surveillance cameras, badge readers, etc., and IT infrastructure. Comprehensive training on security solutions will be provided upon your integration.
Job Description
Within a specialised team, you will be involved in the deployment, configuration, and operational maintenance of video surveillance, access control, and security management platforms. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Installing, configuring, and commissioning security equipment and applications on Windows Server environments
- Administering associated infrastructures: servers, networks, virtualisation, and client/server architectures
- Participating in the integration of solutions with Active Directory and managing user access rights
- Ensuring updates, migrations, and evolutions of existing platforms
- Diagnosing and resolving system, application, and network incidents
- Participating in preventive and corrective maintenance operations
- Supporting clients in the operation and development of their technical environments
- Writing documentation and intervention reports
- Collaborating with expert teams on projects with a strong technical component
Profile Sought
- Training in IT (CFC IT technician, ES, HES or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft environments: Active Directory, GPO, DNS / DHCP, user and access rights management
- Good basics in IP networks (switches, VLAN, TCP/IP)
- Experience with client/server architectures and virtualised environments
- Knowledge of SQL Server is an asset
- Experience in the fields of video surveillance, access control or electronic security
- Fluent French, technical English appreciated
- Appreciated knowledge of SQL, Siveillance or Desigo CC
