Then the role of Financial Accountant (m/f/d) with our partner could be just right for you. As a financial accountant, you play a key role in steering our company towards financial success. Responsibilities:
- Execution of accounts receivable and accounts payable accounting: Management and monitoring of all accounts receivable and payable, including processing invoices, payments and account reconciliations
- Management of internal expense management: Responsibility for controlling and monitoring internal expenses, including budget preparation, analysis of spending patterns and identification of cost reduction opportunities
- Support in the preparation of periodic financial reports and annual financial statements: Active participation in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports as well as annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations.
- Support with VAT returns and reconciliations: Processing and submission of VAT returns as well as reconciliation of VAT accounts
- Collaboration with other financial committees: Close cooperation with other teams in the finance department, including treasury, financial planning & analysis and compliance
- Support in implementing controls according to the internal control system (ICS): Active involvement in the implementation and monitoring of internal controls and procedures
- Maintenance of documentation of internal accounting notes: Updating and maintaining all relevant accounting documents, reports and notes
- Handling customer emails and phone calls: Responding to inquiries from customers and clients regarding invoices, payments and other financial matters
- Support in requirements management: Managing and tracking requests and approvals for financial transactions and expenses
Qualifications:
- You have a completed education in accounting with more than four years of practical experience and possess a solid foundation in accounting practices
- You hold relevant certifications, preferably Swiss GAAP, which underline your ability to correctly apply accounting standards
- You are an all-rounder in administrative matters, enabling you to confidently tackle even complex challenges
- You possess soft skills such as openness, communication and a willingness for continuous professional development, making you a valuable team member in a dynamic project environment
- You have fluent knowledge of German and English and possess communication skills to effectively operate in an international work environment and communicate with colleagues and customers worldwide.
