Design and optimisation of extensive IP network landscapes based on Cisco, Meraki, and Nokia including the development of future-proof architectures and topologies.
Development of holistic connectivity, security, and operations solutions as well as management of technical implementations, migrations, and rollouts.
Handling complex incidents at 3rd-level for LAN, WAN, WLAN, LTE, firewall, and proxy including continuous monitoring and coordination with network providers.
Maintenance of a dedicated test and lab platform, conducting technical validations, and creating comprehensive network and security documentation.
Technical coordination with internal IT teams, various departments, and external service partners in implementing national and international networking initiatives.
Qualifications:
Completed IT training at EFZ, HF, or FH level or a comparable technical qualification with solid practical experience in enterprise networking.
In-depth expertise in routing, switching, firewalling, LTE, and relevant network protocols such as VLAN, VPN, STP, DHCP, DNS, NAT, HSRP, OSPF, VRF, and QoS.
Knowledge of Python, network segmentation, ZBF, and NetFlow as well as ideally a certification such as Cisco CCNP or an equivalent further qualification.
Strong technical understanding, high independence, a pragmatic solution orientation, and convincing communication and cooperation skills.
Very good command of German and English, willingness to travel approximately 10%, valid category B driving licence, and additional language skills in French or Italian are an advantage.
