Job Description
For one of our partners, a small-scale care home located in the Franches-Montagnes, we are seeking a nurse assistant to join a team committed to quality care, focused on the well-being, respect and continuity of care for residents.
For occasional and ad hoc assignments within several establishments in the Jura canton, we are looking for carers to form a pool of temporary professionals available to meet the replacement needs of various partner institutions.
As part of this assignment, you will actively participate in the daily support of residents, in a friendly, family-like environment attentive to the individual needs of each person.
You will help maintain a reassuring and warm atmosphere, while providing constant support to the existing care teams.
Your main duties will include:
- Providing hygiene and comfort care to residents while respecting their dignity, autonomy and lifestyle habits.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities, including getting up, going to bed, moving around, washing, settling in and meals.
- Observing the general condition of residents, noting any changes in behaviour or health and communicating relevant information to the nursing team and management.
- Participating in monitoring the physical and mental well-being of the residents, adopting a kind, patient and reassuring attitude.
Profile Sought
For this position, you hold a nurse assistant diploma or a Red Cross health auxiliary certification, demonstrating your ability to work professionally and rigorously within a care setting.
Ideally, you have experience in care homes, long-term care or a geriatric environment, and you understand the requirements related to supporting elderly people in an institution. You are proficient in basic hygiene, comfort and daily living care techniques, and you know how to adapt your practice to the specific needs of each resident.
We are looking for someone able to integrate quickly into a small-scale structure, with a true sense of responsibility and teamwork.
Your listening skills, discretion and respect for the individual are essential to the success of this assignment.
The qualities expected for this role are as follows:
- You demonstrate empathy, patience and kindness in your relationship with residents.
- You have a keen sense of observation and can communicate information clearly and reliably.
- You work with rigour, autonomy and organisation, while remaining available for the team.
- You can adapt to a regular work rhythm and commit to a stable period.
- You strictly respect instructions, hygiene rules and the confidentiality inherent to your role.
- You appreciate working in a family-like environment where human closeness and quality of care are priorities.
This assignment represents a great opportunity for a nurse assistant wishing to invest themselves in a small-scale care home, within a caring team and a rewarding work environment.
