What you can contribute to

• Utilise your expertise in fungal pathology to acquire and interpret biological observations
• Validate and improve crop disease forecasting models through field and laboratory observations
• Develop and advance the national Agrometeo+ platform and its forecasting tools
• Ensure the quality of meteorological and biological data feeding the forecasting systems
• Coordinate observer networks, meteorological station networks and scientific partners
• Provide scientific expertise in fungal pathology, advise users and contribute to knowledge transfer

What makes you unique

• Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences, ES diploma or equivalent training in phytopathology, biology, agronomy or life sciences
• Experience in fungal crop pathology, both in the field and laboratory, particularly in disease diagnosis and biological observations
• Strong interest in digital tools, data management and forecasting models applied to agriculture
• Ability to work independently, coordinate activities and collaborate with scientific, technical and IT partners
• Analytical mindset, organisational skills and interest in developing innovative solutions for sustainable agriculture
• Knowledge of two official languages and English
