What you can achieve
- Support and coordination of cantonal projects in the area of secondary schools
- Collaboration in the implementation and further development of the requirements for the gymnasial maturity, for specialised secondary schools and for the bridge programme
- Support of recognition and quality assurance processes
- Preparation of decision-making bases, reports, statements, concepts, protocols and proposals for the office management and other cantonal committees
- Preparation and organisation of matters for the education council and government council
- Participation in the creation and coordination of entrance examinations and final examinations
- Cooperation with the school managements of secondary schools as well as with cantonal and national specialist offices and committees
- Leadership, coordination and supervision of working groups and projects
- Deputising for the head of office in the area of secondary schools
What distinguishes you
- A university degree, preferably related to education, educational sciences, administration or a comparable field, teaching diploma for grammar school is an advantage
- Very good knowledge of the Swiss education system; knowledge of upper secondary level II and especially of gymnasial education and the new MARs
- Strong conceptual and analytical skills as well as the ability to structure complex issues and prepare them appropriately for the target audience
- Excellent written and oral expression skills in German
- Independent, careful and reliable working style
- Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to keep several matters and projects in view simultaneously, prioritise sensibly and work efficiently
- A high service orientation as well as willingness for close, trusting and solution-oriented cooperation with the office management and the team
- An open and communicative personality with pronounced cooperation skills in dealing with different stakeholders from school, administration and politics
