Overall Construction Project Manager (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF120,000 - 125,000Role:
On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced individual as Overall Construction Project Manager for the holistic management of demanding real estate and construction projects. You will take responsibility for the key project phases and coordinate architecture, specialist planning, contractors and site management with a consistent focus on deadlines, costs and quality. In addition to project management, you will be responsible for calculations, cost estimates, tenders and awards and accompany the projects through to execution. You can expect an entrepreneurial general contractor/subcontractor environment with high-quality architecture and real estate projects.
Responsibilities:
Overall responsibility for the planning, coordination and realisation of building construction projects across the relevant project phases
Leadership and coordination of architects, specialist planners, specialists, contractors and other project participants
Assumption or management of the local site management and ensuring a smooth construction process
Responsibility for schedule, cost and quality control as well as early detection and management of project deviations
Preparation and revision of construction specifications, cost estimates, cost quotations and project calculations
Planning and execution of tenders including invitations to tender, offer comparisons and technical as well as economic evaluation of bids
Preparation of award proposals and participation in contract negotiations with contractors and suppliers
Management of construction costs and ongoing monitoring of budget, change orders, invoices and cost forecasts
Coordination of interfaces between project development, planning and execution and ensuring planning and execution quality
Ensuring compliance with relevant SIA standards, NPK as well as BKP/eBKP and other Swiss construction regulations
Management of construction administration and project documentation, ideally using WinBau or comparable industry solutions
Qualifications:
Completed basic construction technical training EFZ in main or secondary construction trades with further training as certified construction manager, technician HF or comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in site management and project management in Swiss building construction, ideally in a general contractor/subcontractor environment
Sound knowledge in construction cost management, calculation, tendering and awarding
Very good knowledge of Swiss construction practice as well as relevant SIA standards, NPK and BKP/eBKP
Experience in coordinating architecture, specialist planning, contractors and construction execution
Knowledge of WinBau or comparable construction administration and project software is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
