Role:
In this role, you will shape the digital workplace of the future and develop modern solutions from technical conception to the operation of thousands of end devices. You are responsible for the further development of the digital workplace environment including management systems such as Intune, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft Configuration Manager, and Intel EMA, continuously aligning them with current needs. With PowerShell, you automate recurring processes and develop your own tools in languages such as C# or Rust to ensure stability and efficiency. You analyse complex technical problems, work closely with 3rd-level support, and provide viable solutions. In doing so, you create solutions that have a sustainable impact and shape the digital workplace in the long term.
Responsibilities:
- You develop and operate the cantonal digital workplace from technical conception to implementation on around 8,000 end devices.
- In this role, you jointly shape the further development of the workplace and management systems such as Intune, Windows Autopilot / Microsoft Configuration Manager, and Intel EMA with the team.
- You automate recurring processes with PowerShell and develop your own tools in C# or Rust to ensure efficient and stable operation.
- As a system engineer for digital workplace solutions, you analyse complex technical problems and develop appropriate solutions together with 3rd-level support.
- You implement your developments directly in operation and ensure that they remain viable and future-proof in the long term.
Qualifications:
- Completed training in computer science or an apprenticeship in the IT field.
- Solid experience with current Microsoft operating systems.
- Good knowledge of PowerShell, especially for automation, integration, and interfaces.
- Structured, patient approach to analysing problems and developing sustainable solutions.
- Strong enthusiasm for optimising processes and automating workflows.
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written.
